La stanza
Mixed Media in Virtual Reality
Archive materials, photographs, Super8 and acting. La stanza is an interactive experience in virtual reality, for one viewer at a time, in which archive materials, photographs, music, Super8 family films, original videos and acting come to life through a number of objects scattered around the space. The visitor will enter a little girl's bedroom in the 1990s to discover the story of her mother and her family. An itinerary of rediscovery and appreciation of stories and tales of female emancipation in a different itinerary on each visit.

The closed triptych is a door leading to the private lives of three women: Luisa, Maddalena and Anna. The visitors' gesture introduces the story: three synchronised monitors are activated when the triptych is opened. Three stories of women born in the second half of the 20th century, re-imagined and staged among video fragments, photographs and super8 archive material.
